The dashboard displays interactive stat cards that also serve as navigation:

Teaching Information Section
Below the stats, you'll find your teaching details:
- Class Assigned - The class you're responsible for (e.g., "Form 3A")
- Subjects - List of subjects you teach (e.g., "Mathematics, Physics")
Profile Access
Click the profile button in the top bar to:
- View your complete profile
- Update your information
- Change your password
- See account verification status
Mobile Navigation
On mobile devices:
- The sidebar collapses to a hamburger menu (top left)
- Tap the menu icon to reveal navigation options
- Tap outside or the X to close the sidebar
- All features remain accessible on mobile
Real-Time Updates
The dashboard updates in real-time for:
- Messages - New message count updates automatically
- Pending Students - Badge shows new verification requests
- Events - Upcoming events refresh as dates change
