Join live online classes hosted by your teachers for interactive learning sessions with real-time video and audio.
Live Interactive Learning
Live classes allow you to see and hear your teacher in real-time, ask questions, and participate in discussions just like in a physical classroom.
Finding Live Classes
There are two ways to find and join live classes:
Method 1: Homepage "Live Now" Section
- Go to the Celebra homepage
- Look for the "Live Now" section with a pulsing red indicator
- Browse available live classes showing subject and teacher name
- Click on a class card to join
The red pulsing dot indicates classes that are currently in session and ready to join.
Method 2: Direct Link from Teacher
- Your teacher may share a class link via email, WhatsApp, or other messaging
- Click the link to open the join form
- Fill in your details and join the classroom
Filling Out the Pre-Join Form
Before entering any live class, you must complete a short identity form. This helps your teacher track attendance accurately.

Tip: If you're logged into your Celebra student account, some fields will be pre-filled automatically from your profile.
Before Joining a Class
Make sure you have the following ready:
Stable Internet
A reliable internet connection (minimum 2 Mbps recommended)
Working Camera
Built-in or external webcam for video participation
Microphone
Built-in or external microphone for asking questions
Modern Browser
Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari with latest updates
Joining a Class
- Click on a live class card or link
- Your browser will ask for camera and microphone permissions
- Click "Allow" to enable video and audio
- You'll be connected to the classroom and can see/hear your teacher
- Your attendance is automatically recorded when you join
Automatic Attendance: Your join time is recorded automatically. Your teacher can see who attended the class and for how long.
In-Class Controls
Once inside the virtual classroom, you have these controls:
Camera Toggle
Turn your video on/off
Microphone Toggle
Mute/unmute yourself
Chat
Send text messages
Participants
See who is in class
View Screen Share
Watch teacher's screen
Class Etiquette
Keep your microphone muted when not speaking to reduce background noise
Use the chat for questions if you don't want to interrupt
Find a quiet space with minimal distractions
Be on time - your teacher sees when you joined
Stay until the class ends to get full attendance credit
Dress appropriately if you turn on your camera
Leaving a Class
- Click the "Leave" or disconnect button
- Your leave time is recorded for attendance tracking
- You'll be redirected to the homepage
Note: If you leave and rejoin, each session is recorded separately in the attendance report. Your teacher will see all your join/leave instances.
Troubleshooting
Can't See or Hear the Teacher
- Check your internet connection
- Refresh the page and rejoin
- Make sure you allowed camera/microphone permissions
- Try a different browser (Chrome works best)
Camera/Microphone Not Working
- Check browser permissions in your browser settings
- Make sure no other app is using your camera/mic
- Restart your browser
- Check if your device has a physical camera/mic switch
Connection Keeps Dropping
- Move closer to your WiFi router
- Close other bandwidth-heavy apps (streaming, downloads)
- Try switching to mobile data if WiFi is unstable
- Ask others on your network to reduce their usage during class
