Access all your exam results, track your performance, and understand your grades using the KNEC grading system.
Your Academic Journey
The Grades section gives you complete visibility into your academic performance. Results are posted by your class teacher as soon as they are available.
Accessing Your Grades
- Open the Celebra app on your phone
- Tap on the Grades tab in the bottom navigation
- View your recent exam results at a glance
- Tap on any exam to see detailed scores
Understanding Your Results
KNEC Grading System
Celebra uses the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) grading system. Here is how marks translate to grades:

| 80 - 100 | A | 12 | Excellent |
| 75 - 79 | A- | 11 | Very Good |
| 70 - 74 | B+ | 10 | Good |
| 65 - 69 | B | 9 | Good |
| 60 - 64 | B- | 8 | Satisfactory |
| 55 - 59 | C+ | 7 | Average |
| 50 - 54 | C | 6 | Average |
| 45 - 49 | C- | 5 | Below Average |
| 40 - 44 | D+ | 4 | Below Average |
| 35 - 39 | D | 3 | Weak |
| 30 - 34 | D- | 2 | Very Weak |
| 0 - 29 | E | 1 | Fail |
Grade Points Average
Your overall performance is measured using the Mean Grade. This is calculated by averaging the points of all your subjects. For example:
- If you score A (12), B+ (10), and C (6) in three subjects
- Your mean points = (12 + 10 + 6) / 3 = 9.33
- This corresponds to a B grade overall

Filtering Results
Filter your grades by:
- Term - Term 1, 2, or 3
- Year - Select academic year
- Subject - View specific subject history
- Exam Type - CAT, Mid-term, End-term
Performance Trends
The app visualizes your progress over time:
- See if you are improving or declining in each subject
- Compare current term to previous terms
- Identify subjects that need more attention
Detailed Analytics
Tap on any subject to see:
- All scores in that subject over time
- Highest and lowest marks
- Performance graph
Sharing Results
Share with Parents
Share your results with your parents or guardians:
- Open the exam result you want to share
- Tap the Share button
- Choose how to share (WhatsApp, SMS, etc.)
- Send to your parent contact
Download Report Card
Download your complete report card as a PDF:
- Go to your grades summary
- Tap Download Report Card
- The PDF is saved to your phone
- Print or share as needed
Notifications
You will receive push notifications when:
- New exam results are posted
- Your teacher updates a score
- End-of-term report is available
Missing Results?
If you do not see results for an exam:
- Your teacher may not have posted them yet
- Check that your admission number is correct
- Contact your class teacher if results seem missing
